Welcome!

Does your OCD and anxiety have you caught in endless loops of doubt, shame, and “what if” thoughts that never seem to quiet down?

OCD and anxiety can make you question everything— your safety, your values, even who you are— and no amount of logic or reassurance feels like enough. Over time, that constant uncertainty can leave you feeling anxious, burned out, and afraid of your own mind— especially for AuDHD folks and trauma survivors navigating OCD and anxiety.

You don’t have to live trapped in those cycles, and you don’t have to carry this alone! As an OCD specialist with lived experience of OCD, I get it. Together, we’ll help you understand your mind and untangle looping thoughts so that you can rebuild trust in your own mind, find steady ground again, and reconnect with the grounded, authentic version of you that OCD and anxiety have buried beneath the noise.

With OCD and anxiety therapy in Lynchburg, VA, you can:

  • Reconnect with and trust your authentic self

  • Feel grounded, safe, and at home in your own skin

  • Receive support without judgment or pressure

Your story isn’t over; together, we can write a chapter where you finally feel at home in your own mind.

Meet Mx. Lauren!

Are you struggling to tune out the mental noise? I am an OCD specialist with lived experience of OCD, and I truly get it. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and the founder of Neuroqueering Counseling Services. I help you navigate living with OCD and anxiety so you can rebuild self‑trust, let go of doubt, and reconnect with who you really are. My work focuses on OCD and anxiety in the LGBTQIA+, Autistic, ADHD, AuDHD, and neurodivergent communities, including those carrying the weight of trauma.

My approach is affirming, non‑pathologizing, and grounded in both lived experience and evidence‑based care. Using neurodivergent-affirming I‑CBT and ACT, we’ll work together to help you:

  • Trust your senses and your grounded self

  • Get out of your head and into the present

  • Break free from fear and reclaim your life

You deserve to feel safe, whole, and free. Ready to take the next step? Schedule your first session, and let’s begin your journey.
